Encrypted in transit and at rest
Traffic is served over HTTPS/TLS, and data is encrypted at rest at the platform level.
Every business kept separate
Row-level data segmentation isolates each tenant, so one business can never see another’s records.
MFA and role-based access
Multi-factor authentication and role-based permissions, with an audit trail of sensitive actions.
Face matching runs on the device
Optional face matching runs on the tablet itself, comparing a numeric face template — photos are never compared or sent anywhere for matching. The enrolment photo is kept in a private storage bucket, and clock-in photos are captured only when you turn photo capture on.
Tap to Clock trades verification for speed
Tap to Clock lets staff clock in with an NFC badge or fob on an Android kiosk, a printed QR card, or the rotating QR code on their own phone. The badge or code is the whole credential, so a tap or scan replaces the PIN and face check rather than adding to it, and whoever holds a badge or card can clock with it. That is why it is off by default and opt-in per business, under Settings, Kiosk, Security & Verification. The rotating phone QR is the strongest of the three, because it changes every 30 seconds and a screenshot stops working.

The application database and storage run in Australia (Sydney), operated by a New Zealand company (Kiwi Digital Ltd).

NZ Privacy Act aligned
Handling follows the NZ Privacy Act 2020, including notifying affected people if a breach is likely to cause serious harm.
Nothing lost offline
Clock-ins and sign-ins are saved on the device and sync when the connection returns — a dropped Wi-Fi never loses a record.
