Educators clock in with a PIN or face check, so you always know who’s rostered on and present. If hands are full at the start of a shift, the optional Tap to Clock setting adds an NFC fob tap on an Android kiosk, a printed QR card, or the rotating QR code on their own phone for any kiosk with a camera, iPads included. A tap or scan skips the PIN and face check, so it is off by default.

Does Clockie include a roster for the teaching team?
Yes. The weekly roster is included in the plan: a Monday to Sunday grid per centre with copy last week, templates and approved leave shaded on the grid, published to the team by email, text message or WhatsApp. It plans who is working when and compares that with who clocked in. It does not know your licensed numbers or ratio requirements, so keep using your usual ratio check.
